The Joint Entrance Examination, commonly known as JEE, is a computer-based test (CBT) taken for the admission of students in the Engineering and Architecture colleges of India. The online application process is separated into two parts: JEE Main Online Application and JEE Advanced Online Application. The first level is the JEE (Main), and the official body, National Testing Agency (NTA), organises this exam every year. It comprises two papers, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper is for the admission of B.E. and B.Tech programmes in National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and all the other institutes of the participating States. The second paper (Paper 2) is for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses in various Indian institutes. JEE Main is also the qualifying test to sit for JEE Advanced (second level of JEE), conducted for admission to the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). As per the official notification of NTA, there will be two sessions of the JEE Main 2024 for admissions in the academic session 2024-25. It is not compulsory for the students to appear for both sessions. However, if a candidate sits for both JEE Main sessions, the best scores among the two sessions will be considered for the merit list. It will allow the candidates to rectify their mistakes and improve their scores in the next one. You need to fill the JEE Online Form for both sessions separately. Candidates who have passed the class 12th board exam in 2022 or 2023 or have appeared in the class 12th board exam in 2024 are eligible to sit for the JEE Main 2024 examination. There is no age limit for the candidates. A candidate is given the opportunity to sit for the exam for three consecutive years. Steps To Make Changes:

● Visit the official website of NTA for JEE Main, i.e. www.jeemain.nta.nic.in, and log in
with your registration number and password.
● Click on the “JEE Main Correction in Application Form 2024” link and proceed as per
the instructions.
● Make the necessary changes in the application form.
● Click on the ‘Submit’ button to confirm the submission of the corrected form.
● Take the printout of the corrected application form for future reference.
