  • Date of Birth: A change in birthdate is allowed
  • Gender: The Gender selection can be changed
  • Category and Subcategory: The candidate can upload/uploaded caste or diploma/disability certificates where required
  • Exam City and Medium: The candidate can change their preference for exam language and city. 
  • Academic info: The candidate can change their class 10/12 academic results. 

Courses Applied For: New courses can be added, and previous selections can be updated.

Important Guidelines for JEE Main 2026 Correction Window

Candidates should keep the following in mind regarding the correction, in order to avoid confusion or rejection.

  • Only certain fields are open for correction, so filling the form accurately the first time is still important.
  • The correction window is given separately for each exam session, January and April.
  • Some changes e.g. changing the category from SC/ST to General/OBC-NCL may attract additional fee.
  • After the correction window is closed, candidates can not make any corrections. So, the candidates must recheck the application before submission.
  • If NTA finds any false or invalid information, it has right to reject the application at any stage.
