JEE Main Syllabus for Paper 2B( B.Plan)

The JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Plan) syllabus is made of three parts which is made of Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning. In the Mathematics and General Aptitude, they will have exactly the same syllabus as Paper 2A (B.Arch) and the Planning contains different topics to evaluate candidate’s understanding of urban and region planning concepts.

According to the most recent update by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the JEE Main 2026 exam:

In Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B (B.Planning), Section B for each subject will now include 5 compulsory numerical-based questions. Unlike previous years, candidates will no longer have the option to choose from a set—all five questions must be attempted.
